No. The decision is made inline at the edge, typically in under 50 milliseconds — the visitor is redirected in the same request. There is no external inference call to wait on.
Entirely inside the Cloudflare Worker. The feedforward network's forward pass executes in-worker, so there's no separate ML service, no round-trip, and no cold start.
Instead of a hard block, the visitor is issued a lightweight challenge. Genuine users pass; automated clients that can't complete it don't reach your destination.
Yes. The bot and human thresholds and the block-confidence cutoff are configurable, so you decide how aggressive the gate is for your traffic.
